Julie Hutchings

Julie graduated from Loyola Marymount’s Screenwriting program in 2012. After working in music management and publishing, she returned to film, focusing on development at several independent production companies.

 

Following this, Julie worked for Oscar-winning cinematographer Wally Pfister on his directorial debut, Transcendence, on the Netflix series Flaked, and many major commercial campaigns through David Fincher’s Reset Content.

 

Julie founded Spīra Films with a passion to elevate women's roles both in front of and behind the camera.
